Today we are launching our search for a new co-convenor for the Better Way network.

This opportunity comes about because my wonderful colleague Caroline Slocock will be stepping aside from the role after more than six years. I’m very pleased to say we won’t be entirely losing her, as she explains below.

Message from Caroline Slocock:

Being a co-convenor of a Better Way for me has been a wonderful voyage of discovery – building relationships with so many extraordinary people, listening and learning from them and others, finding out how to share and build the power that we all hold as well as challenging abuses of power, and joining forces with others to tackle systemic changes.

I’m excited the network will be welcoming someone new to that role, who will bring fresh energy and different experiences and insights. I’ll be stepping back once we’ve recruited my successor but not entirely away – my organisation, Civil Exchange, will continue to host the network and I will continue to work with the network’s core group to help steer the direction of travel. I also look forward to seeing you at some of the network’s future events!
